Biksons Engineering Works offers a Turbine Cum Package Boiler that can make use of all fuels including any grade of brown coals and anthracites, to serve as a source of heat and light. There are 15 modifications of the Biksons turbine cum package boiler, all with a reverse feed mechanical stoker with pneumatic rotary spreaders to assure a steam output of 2.5 to 25 tonnes per hour. Brief specifications: outlet steam pressure – 14-24 kgf/cm2; saturated steam temperature – 194-221ºC; and superheated steam temperature – 225-250°C. Steam production in a Biksons turbine cum package boiler is just the first link in the chain of co-generation-simultaneous production of heat and electricity. The company is ready for a package delivery, i.e., to supply the boiler complete with a heat-extraction turbine and a generator. An important point to note is that in co-generation users will save 25% of fuel compared with separate generation of heat and electricity.
