Thermal Pad Heaters For Storage Tanks

Industrials Heators offers Thermal Pad Heaters for Storage Tanks. These are used for maintaining fluid temperatures in small, medium and large-volume industrial storage tanks. Typical applications are for electrical heat tracing of tanks and vessels to heat the liquid medium at maximum temperature. The basic design of these pad heaters consists of a helically wound single strand nichrome coil placed in a specially designed with non-flammable silica and glass cloth. The resistance coil is mechanically connected to nickel wire terminal for positive connection of 230 V and 440 V AC power supply. Silica or glass cloth is used to house the heater assembly. The heating element has been specially designed for highly flexible to provide maximum surface area for contact for good heat dissipation into the surface of the equipment thus resulting in rapid heat transfer. This type of heaters is most applicable in SS washing tanks, evaporators, transport tankers, chemical and cement industry for hopper heating, evaporators in effluent treatment plants, etc. Also for uneven shaped equipment, this type of pad heaters can be used.
