Thermal Pad Heaters

Industrials Heators offers a range of Thermal Pad Heaters that are used for heating oil bulk storage tanks and day tanks for many industries for their daily process applications. The heater is attached directly to the surface of a tank with a support clamp. It is significantly more efficient and better than a conventional tank heater. This type of heater does a great job of heating the content in the tank and keeps the oil warm and free flowing irrespective of outside temperature. The pad heater's basic design consists of a helically wound resistance coil on fibre yarn and placed in a specially designed glass cloth. The resistance coil is mechanically connected to multi strand nickel wire terminal for positive connection. A non-flammable glass cloth is used to house the heater assembly. The heating elements have been specially designed to provide maximum surface contact for good heat dissipation thus resulting in rapid heat transfer. Industrials Heators’ pad heaters are manufactured in a full line of standard sizes, electrical ratings and terminations, or can be made to the customers’ specifications. Applications: especially suitable for all types of storage tanks; hoppers; transportation tanks; and evaporators.
