Thermal Evaporator for Zero Discharge of Effluent

VG Engineers manufactures energy efficient Multiple Effect Evaporation plants on turnkey basis. It is used for handling large volumes of effluents leading to zero discharge of liquid streams. The plants work on Efficient thermal evaporation of the effluents in multiple effect modules by using heat from steam, thermic fluid, waste heat from flue gases, waste low pressure steam from turbines or any other heat sources. Effluent is filtered in filters and fed to evaporators to evaporate continuously. The evaporated and condensed water is collected which can be re-used in boilers, cooling towers, processes etc. The evaporated and condensed water will have less than 50 mg/lit of TDS and will be good quality water for re-use. The TDS solids, which are present in the original effluent, are concentrated, and separated in centrifuges/ filters to recover in the form of solids, which can be disposed off in solid dumping areas earmarked for the purpose, which leads to zero discharge of liquid effluents. The plants are very economical, low cost, compact and one man operated. Adequate instruments like temperature and level controllers are provided to take of operation of the plant. These offers solutions to large volume of effluents generated in process, chemical, paper, steel mills, thermal power stations, and other allied industries where high TDS effluent poses problems, which cannot be efficiently handled by conventional methods.
