Steam Air Heater

Sasmith Engineering Corporation designs and manufactures Steam Air Heaters of various capacities. The equipment is available for different capacity ranges starting from 500 CFM to 50 000 CFM of air flow. The temperature of the air can be raised from ambient temperature to 120°C in normal ranges. Higher capacities are available on request. Equipment is being pressure-tested hydrostatically for trouble free operation. Various types of extended surface tubes are being used as heat transfer elements, depending on the temperature and pressure of the application. The material of construction is carbon steel or stainless steel. The air side flanges can be made suitable for online connection with duct flange in circular or rectangular shape as per customer needs. Air heaters are available also with hot water and thermic fluid oil. The data like air flow rate, temperature of the air required, heat source, etc., are required for design purpose. Accessories like blowers, electric motor, air flow control valves, air filters, temperature indicators, steam trap, steam flow valve, etc., are provided as optional components.
