Spray Dryers

Shachi Engineering offers Spray Dryers, SEPL. These spray dryers are user friendly and fitted with latest technically advanced tool sets to safeguard it against wear and tear of atomising system. These dryers consists of a large cylindrical and usually vertical chamber, into which material to be dried is fed in the form of small droplets. Hot air is fed to supply the heat necessary to complete evaporation of liquid. There are three types of design considerations: Co-current type - feed and hot air is from same side, feed is from rotary atomiser and nozzle; Counter current - feed is from top side and hot air from bottom side, feed is from rotary atomiser and nozzle; and Co-counter type -feed is from bottom side and hot air from top (fountain) side, feed atomisation is through pressure nozzle or two fluid nozzle. The chamber design: tall tower with high-pressure nozzle; rotary disc atomiser type; bustle type construction; and integrated fluid bed chamber. Atomisation system: pressure nozzle, rotary disc atomizer type and two fluid types.
