Muffle Furnaces

Systems India offers Muffle Furnaces. These are designed lightweight with ceramic fibre wood insulation (instead of brick insulation). The outer casing is made of double walled thick PCRC sheet, reattached with thick perforated sheet on the bottom portion, painted with attractive stove enamel. Heating elements are made of Kanthal "A-1" wire and backed by high temperature wool insulation, which avoids loss of energy. Temperature control unit consists of energy regulator, fitted in front of furnace with two pilot lamps. These apparatus are complete with one pyrometer, thermocouple, silver thermal fuse, and main lead with power plug, and works on 220/230 V or 400/440 V AC. The energy regulator dial is arbitrarily marked 0-100 positions. This marking does not indicate temperature. It indicates control level, i.e., at position "100" maximum electricity is allowed to flow to the furnace. At position "0" minimum electricity is flow to furnace. Maximum temperature is 950ºC and working temperature 900ºC. For models of higher temperature, the maximum temperature is 1200ºC and working temperature. These furnaces are available in many different sizes. Also available are high temperature furnaces (up to 1400ºC) that are Ceramic fibre insulated, with chamber made of high-density ceramic fibreboard. Heavy-duty transformer unit heats the furnace. Control panels are provided with heavy-duty controllers. It comes with digital type temperature indicator-cum-controller, complete with PT/RT thermocouple. The maximum temperature range is up to 1400ºC, but maximum working temperature is 1300ºC.
