Installation Instruction :
• 1. Mica Strip Heaters are available with mounting slots at end for surface mounting application or without slots for inserting into the milled slots.
• 2. The heaters should be clamped firmly along the entire length to a smooth metal surface by using metal clamps.
• 3. The area for heating must be clean & smooth for efficient heat transfer. No air gaps should b there which may cause hotspot, resulting infailure.
• 4. Contaminants such as oil, plastics & dirt should not be allowed to collect on heaters as they will find way into the windinds & cause electrical shorts.
