Laboratory Spray Dryer

The glass laboratory spray dryer SD 05, is ideally suited for research and development purposes and for obtaining uniform free flowing powder sample from very small volumes of liquid. Capacity of the spray dryer is approx 1500 ml//hr of water removal at inlet air temperature of 250°C. The SD 05 unit is self-contained and is supplied complete ready for immediate operation and eliminates the drying problems associated with freeze-drying, rotary evaporation and ovens. It is very easy to clean and very simple to assemble and breakdown. Before starting large dryer samples are tested and standardized. The drier has successfully processed samples in areas like: pharmaceuticals, dyestuffs, soaps and detergents, ceramics, foodstuffs, chemicals, flavours and colourings, perfumes, milk/egg/plant/vegetable extracts, etc. The unit can be also used for micro encapsulation or englobulation. Inert gas connection plates can also be provided when removing solvents from liquids using nitrogen as drying medium instead of air. Also available are:

• Reaction systems in glass and stainless steel with capacities ranging from 100 ml to 100 litre, distillation systems including short path wiped wall thin film wiped wall and rising film
• Fermentation/bioreaction and universal reaction systems

• Multi stage mixer settlers for continuous counter current extraction
• Bench top laboratory fume hoods
