Jacketed Screw Dryer

The double shaft screw rotates inside jacketed stationary housing, steam or hot oil can be circulated in housing jacket as well in hollow shafts of the screw to enhance drying surface area. Wet material is fed at one end of the dryer & dried product is discharged at other end. This equipment can also be used for cooling of the product with circulation of cold water. This is effective for drying of sludge, powders, granules, and crystals at low temp & gentle drying with longer residence time.
