Infrared Heaters

Logicon Electronics offers infrared heaters, specifically designed for use in tunnel ovens common to the paint finishing industry. Infrared heaters are medium wave length, wide area modules, provided in standard sizes, which are easy to mount, wire and operate. Features: eliminates use of boiler, oil, kerosene, etc; add-on with existing system possible; energy savings up to 50% as compared to conventional heating methods; dries/cures solvents, high solids, water base ands powder-coatings; cycle time for most applications is 5 minutes; gels most powders in under 1 minute and cures in 1-3 minutes; warm-up time is 1.5 minutes for 235ºC; maximum emitter temperature is 750ºC; heater temperature can be easily controlled; brightens the colours finish; heater can be wired to 240 V or 480 V single phase; flat, solid surface, no reflector, no wastage, no maintenance; long life expectancy; maximizes efficiency, minimizes operating cost; highest ratio of power input to usable radiant energy; improves quality/reduces floor space; safe in hazardous environment; and attractive return on investments.
