Furnace for Carburising Small Components

Fluidtherm, an ISO 9001 company, manufactures continuous furnaces for carburising small components. Small forged and sheet metal components can be economically carburised in these mesh belt furnaces. These furnaces wherein components are quenched in small lots under sealed condition give very good surface finish, uniform hardness and reduced distortion. The multi speed belt enables the user to process various components and case depths in the same furnace. The hot mesh belt return feature preheats the incoming components up to 600?C before they enter the furnace. This drastically reduces the energy consumption. Atmosphere gas consumption is reduced by use of a narrow "Deep Throat"muffle entry design. This plant design enables belt and element replacement without having to open the funace. Mesh belt furnaces are completely non polluting and require less manpower. Marquenching capability for further distortion control can also be incorporated. The furnaces come equipped with a range of control options from single manual controls up to level III SCADA systems.
