Lyophilization Systems offers Freeze-Dryer, Research Series. This is a laboratory research freeze-dryer designed with the same parameters as industrial sized machines. A rectangular chamber offers a compact profile with either bulk or bottom-up hydraulic stoppering configuration. All internal surfaces are constructed of 316L stainless steel and offer a polish of 20 Ra or better. A remote coil condenser is located between the product and the vacuum pump providing maximum condensing surface area and vacuum pump protection. Features: PC/PLC control standard; -53°C or -85°C condenser temperature; 30L condenser capacity; remote condenser with hot gas defrost; from 1 to 5 shelves in bulk or stoppering; -48°C or -70°C shelf temperature; fluid filled hollow shelves, 12" x 24" each; rectangular 316L chamber; hydraulic stoppering; Pirani pressure control and gas backfill standard; and optional manifold. This is a versatile R&D freeze dryer, has large capacity condenser; fluid filled hollow shelves for maximum temperature uniformity; and ability to add PAT instrumentation. System performance: shelf pull down from +20 to -40°C in less than 30 minutes; temperature resolution 0.1°C; vacuum pull down to 100 mT in less than 15 minutes; vacuum leak rate less than 30 mT per hour; and maximum vacuum level 5mT in clean dry system.
