Flexible Heating Tapes

The company offers HTS/Amptek flexible heating tapes for industrial and laboratory applications. HTS/Amptek heating tapes are ideal for heating small diameter tubing, pipes, hoses, laboratory reactors, pumps and other system devices, where temperature maintenance or added heat flux is required. Large vessels may be efficiently heated using heating jackets and blankets. Laboratory and industrial heating tapes are available in standard sizes for non-conductive, conductive and moisture surface environments. Bulk Mono or Duo-Tape® may be purchased for OEM applications. Fabric style heating tapes are suitable for maximum temperatures of 750°C and silicone extruded tapes can operate up to 230°C. Standard insulated heating tapes are constructed of multi-strand, high temperature resistance wire, which has been over braided with two layers of Amox yarn then knitted into the serpentine shape for use on non-conductive surfaces such as glass or ceramic. They are often used as components in OEM assemblies or embedded in resin. Heavy insulated heating tapes have an additional over braid of Amox (760c) or fibreglass (480c) fabric to allow use on conductive surfaces such as steel, aluminium, copper, etc. They are available in Duo or Mono tape styles.
