Flash Dryer

In flash dryers, the wet feed is dispersed into the high velocity venturi section. In this zone, the wet product comes into contact with the hot drying and rapid evaporation take place. The product is then dried as it is conveyed up through the long ducts before discharged through cyclones or bag filters. These dryers are suitable for drying of low moisture/Non sticky powders/granules/crystals/cake etc.
