Flanged Immersion Heaters

Flanged immersion heaters are widely used for heating water, oil, chemical, wax, tar, etc. in tanks or pipes. These heaters consist of U shaped tubular heating elements brazed or welded into a standard pipe flange. Installation is made by bolting the heater assembly onto a mating flange which is welded to the tank, wall or pipe. Terminal housings are provided to enclose electrical connections. Cold section from the flange side if required can be provided. There is a thermowell for mounting temperature sensors. Element supports are provided to maintain proper element spacings. Heaters are designed for 240 V or 440 V supply and wattage ratings are from 1.5 kW to 100 kW. Other voltages and wattages can also be designed. Flange material is MS or SS and heating element material is SS or inconel as per customers' requirement.
