Superfit Continental manufactures a range of rotary vacuum flash evaporators. These are ideal for quick evaporation and concentration of solutions under vacuum without any fear of decomposition. These are particularly suitable for handling heat sensitive materials especially when dissolved in less volatile solvents because the distillation is effected under vacuum much below the normal boiling point of the solvent. The surface area of the solution in a half filled evaporating flask is approximately tripled by production of film on inner surface due to continuous rotation of this flask under vacuum. It works remarkably well in R&D labs of chemical and pharmaceutical industries, institutes and universities also.
