Electric Heat Tracers

Electric Heat Tracers come with silicon insulation and built for process requiring temperature up to 150°C (maximum surface temperature of cable 200°C). These tracers are available in tinned copper or stainless steel braid.

Principle
Two insulated bush bars have spiralling resistance wires, which are in electrical contact with the bus bars at regular intervals. These intervals are called as contact points (one of the conductor is stripped by few mm). The outside jacket ensures proper electrical insulation. A series of constant wattage heating zones are created by the parallel power connection. The constant power cable can be cut to any length. The temperature is maintained by the use of thermostat.
