Drum Heater

Industrial drum heater (vertical model) has a well type, double walled construction. Its inner chamber is made of MS with a heat resistive silver paint finish, and the outer chamber is also made of MS with a powder coat finish. The unit has an electrical heating system, suitable for heating 200ltrs standard size drum. The drum heater is made into 2 semicircular halves, which are joined at one end by heavy duty hinges & clamps and at the other end by a special press fit adjustable lock, with the control panel on one half + heater,& heater + connector junction box on the other half. A SS ‘U’ type Enconel heater of suitable capacity/band type Heater clamped with inner surface is used as the heating element for uniform distribution of heat. The maximum achievable temperature is 150^ºC. An imported capillary type thermostat is provided for setting required set temp to control with contactor/heavy duty relay. Digital microprocessor PID temperature controller cum indicator with PT-100 sensor controls the heating process as option. The unit is easily moveable on its castor wheels. Power: 440 V, 50 Hz, 3-Ø power supply.
