Compressed air dryer

Compressed air dryer from Summits Hygronics Private Limited, Coimbatore, that shifts towers after a preset time and minimises purge loss. Saturated compressed air on entering the air-to-air heat exchanger (pre cooler) is cooled by exchanging heat with the outgoing cold air. A refrigerant compressor and condenser supply low temperature refrigerant to the evaporator. The process cools the air reducing its capacity to hold water vapour and results in moisture condensation. The condensed moisture is removed from the air stream by an in-built moisture separator and automatic drain valve.
