Coil Heaters

Datta Group of Industries offers a range of coil heaters. Applications: hot sprue bushings; sealing bars and dies; hot metal forming punches, etc. Features: fibreglass, stainless steel armour and stainless steel braid lead options; a wide range of lengths are available up to 2000 mm; optional built-in type `J’ thermocouple; and flat, square or round profiles. Technical specifications: sheath material – high-nickel alloy (CrNi-Steel, material no: 1.4541); heating conductor – nickel/chromium (NiCr8020, material no: 2.4869); insulation material – highly compressed magnesium oxide (MgO); voltage range – 240-250 V AC; leakage current – <0.5 mA; insulation resistance – approx 10 Mohms; wattage tolerance – ±10%; thermocouple – type `J’, Fe/CuNi; standard cold length – 2.2 x 4.2 = 90 mm, 3.2 x 3.2 = 100 mm, 3 mm dia = 150 mm; max operating temperature – 500º; min forming radius – flat: 2.2 x 4.2 = 5.00 mm, 1.8 x 3.2 = 4.00 mm, square – all sizes = 6.00 mm, round – 4.0 = 6.0 mm, 3.0 = 4.00 mm.
