Lab Furnace

British Electricals offers a Lab Furnace, Model BLF-1200. This is a compact bottom loading lab furnace for 1200°C, ideal for R&D applications; ceramic industries for disintegration, test and analysis of advance ceramic samples, glass melting, refractory porosity, long term temperature test, firing and sintering; and semi conductor industries for annealing silicon, silicon carbide and nitride samples. The furnace has electrically operated elevator for ease of loading/unloading operation, and uses latest medium wave infrared technology controlled by microprocessor based, fuzzy logic PID control with programmable profile for 2 patterns of 8 step each for programming rate of temperature rise and hold time (ramp/soak). RS-232 communication port is provided for on-line monitoring/controlling and data logging with software provided. Multiple uses can be monitored using same software (up to 30 different furnaces, Modibus RS-485 interface in place of RS-232 fully insulated for electrical and heat). Basic specifications: power – 230 V AC, ±10% 50 Hz, 2000 W; size – 485 (L) x 325 (D) x 690 mm (H); and weight – 26 kg approx. Options – inert gas/vacuum atmosphere, 1400°C and 1800°C range.
