Aluminium Melting & Holding Furnaces

Seco Warwick Allied now offers the world class Seco/Warwick aluminium melting and holding furnaces in India. Ranging from 12.5 MT to 120 MT, the melting furnaces are offered in 3 configurations: (a) Seco/Warwick’s Tilting Reverb Furnaces have the reputation of being premium equipment that delivers constant, predictable pour rates for quality output. These are direct-fired furnaces with open hearth and could be used for any non-ferrous metals. Applications for the reverb furnaces include melting sows, solids and scrap, along with alloying the molten metal before casting into useable form. The rate of molten metal flow could be changed instantly by a convenient push button control or automatically by a Launder metal level sensor. (b) Seco/Warwick has also specialised in large capacity Aluminium Reverb Furnaces for melting and holding in both stationery and tilting design operations. (c) Seco Warwick’s Aluminium Rotary Melting furnace patented as Scrap Manager – a new modular design tilting aluminium rotary melting furnace has a standard capacity of 11.3 MT. Used for scrap or dross reclamation and copper smelting, these furnaces use double pass firing scheme that maximises the heat transfer from source to the bath. Designed to allow easy and faster repairs and relining. (d) Tilting Barrels are smaller and compact furnaces with arch configuration. By rotating the entire furnace chamber on its base, controlled pouring is achieved without the need for complicated equipment.
