The capacity of a solar water system is based on customer requirement. Capacity ranges from 150 LPD to 100,000 LPD and more up to maximum temperature of 90?C. The company has installed a 54,000 LPD system for boiler feed water for cattle feed centre – Kanjari, Amul Dairy, which is saving 60,000 ltr of furnace oil annually and reducing carbon emissions to the tune of 600 tonnes/year since March 2000.
