Universal Joint Shaft/Cardan Shaft

Nuhydro Automation Products offers Universal Joint that transmits torque from the driving to the driven unit. A proven component of technical engineering, universal/cardan shafts enable the connection between two shafts, which are arranged not in line and allow angular deflection in any plane. Length variations between the shaft ends are compensated by splined sliding components. The application of universal shafts will result in the following cost reductions for the user: simplified assembly – no alignment of the units to be connected; economical maintenance, high class bearings guarantee long service life; and production down time is reduced by simplified arrangements of total installation.
