Rotary Joints

Mechtrolin Industrials offers Rotary Joints of various sizes for use in industries. Two-port rotary joints are used in the operation of rotating hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders. Single port rotary joints are used in providing coolant water or steam to the rotating rollers in mills. The company can provide 2”BSP (with 1” BSP siphon) to ½”BSP (with ¼”BSP siphon) joints or as per the requirement of the customer. The seal arrangement has self-energising seals, which have minimum load and wear. It also has rotary joints, which can be tightened from the rear making it very easy to assemble them on equipment, which has minimal access. These rotary joints can withstand up to 210 bar for hydraulic cylinders and 10 bar for pneumatic cylinders and process equipment. The standard rotary joints can withstand up to 120°C and higher temperature rotary joints can be made as per requirement. Rotary joints are made from cast iron, cast steel and stainless steel or any material as per the requirement of the customer. In two-piece rotary joints the seal can be changed from the rear without dismantling the rotary joint from the main equipment in the unlikely event of seal failure. Also, the joint can be tightened on to the machinery from the rear by removing the rear cover. The company can make rotary joints to the design or requirement of the customers also.
