High-Frequency Spindles

SycoTec of Germany offers High-Frequency Spindles for engraving, milling, drilling, and grinding PI-TECH Services, the Sole Representatives in India. The company specialises in the manufacture of high-frequency spindles for use on engraving machines, as well as on other machines meant for milling, drilling, or grinding. Started nearly 100 years ago, it is a pioneer in the development of the elements of electric motors (stators and rotors) as well as of complete spindles. Recently, at the AMB Fair held at Stuttgart they exhibited their latest development of a high-power high-frequency spindle for engraving. The SycoTec Model 4064 DC has outer diameter of 60 mm and max power of 5 kW. It is suitable to take an HSK25 size tool-holder. It can operate at speeds between 5,000 to 50,000 RPM, 1667 Hz; high max torque of up to 120 Ncm; with max current 14 A. It has a runout of within 1 micron at the clamping seat making it the most accurate and rigid spindle in the world. The body is water-cooled. The position of the tool, whether clamped or not, can always be monitored. The spindle has pressurised air-curtain against the entry of dirt or the coolant from the front. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Driven by a brushless DC in-built motor, all its electrical and mechanical parts are made in-house, covered under SycoTec warranty. All SycoTec made HF spindles are supported in India for after-sales service by a modern service centre at Gurgaon.
