Expansion Joints For Demanding Industrial Piping Systems

General Rubber offers rubber style 1100 Gen-Flex non-metallic expansion joints for piping systems. These are ideally suited for demanding piping systems such as those found in chemicals, wastewater, power, paper/pulp, marine, mining and HVAC applications. The Gen-Flex features single or multiple wide flowing arches which allow for exceptional all directional movement, while virtually eliminating sediment build up. With sizes that range from 10" - 96" (ID), these extraordinary joints reduce noise, isolate shock and vibration, and compensate for minor misalignment. They are able to withstand higher pressures than conventional expansions joints. Standard construction provides up to 250(F of continuous service, with higher temperatures now available with Kevlar reinforcement. These expansion joints are available in custom engineered sizes and arrangements with options that include tapered sleeves, offset constructions and a variety of tube and cover elastomers.
