Parvin Trading offers Composite Drive Shaft. With this coupling our many years of experience in the range of All Steel Couplings are combined with the new Composite Drive Shaft technology. This result in a corrosion resistant, extreme light weight coupling for drives with big shaft distances.
Characteristic Features
Couplings are used for all engineering purposes where reliable power transmission is required even with unavoidable shaft misalignment.The coupling which is introduced in this catalogue was developed especially for drives where big shaft distances must be compensated whereas the weight is kept very low due to the use of composite tubes, and an intermediate bearing is not necessary.
Function

• Torque is transmitted by tension-loaded flexible steel disks
• Low axial- and angular restoring forces due to the use of thin steel disks assembled in plate packs
• High reproducible balance quality because of exactly machined components and a form-closed screw connection with close fitting bolts
• Torsionally stiff transmission of torque without backlash and, at the same time, providing compensation for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignments
• Hubs, adapter flanges, bolts and nuts are manufactured of stainless quality steel (optionally adapter flanges and hubs made of corrosion protected steel are available), the plate pack material is hard-rolled spring steel
• Disks are jointed together with bushes and retaining rings, to form compact plate packs which guarantee simple and reliable installation
• The coat of polyurethane ensures chemical resistance and permits the use in aggressive environment
• The protection of the single plates against penetration of dirt particles is also ensured
• Spacers can be removed radially without shifting connected machines
