Ball Screw

Institute of Applied Research manufactures ball lead screws for high efficiency and accurate transmission of rotary motion into linear motion and vice versa. Features include: high efficiency, high stillness and high accuracy; zero backlash and longer life; no stick slip effect; precise positioning; and lesser heat generation; compactness; and pre-load. Ball screws are generally used in the following applications: precision machine tools, milling turning drilling, boring, shaping, EDM, tool grinding machines, etc. Ball screws are sensitive to shocks, bending and contamination. Therefore they are specially treated and handled with care before despatch. During storage, bending, corrosion and other damages should be avoided. Temperature range: 20? to 120?C.
