Servo Solenoid actuator combines a programmable servo motor with a highly efficient ball screw to provide infinitely variable actuation for speed, stroke, and load. The actuator offers low inertia for fast response and moves at speeds up to thousands of inches per minute. The no-gears design provides for quiet, in-line actuation. Design choices to fit custom application are best suited for automotive systems, including antilock braking, electric braking, transmission shifting, steering and clutch control, active suspension, power seats, and traction control.
