Keyless bushes are also generally called clamping units, locking assemblies or shrink discs.
The concept of using keys to transmit power from a shaft to a drive component is now obsolete. Designing, machining and assembly using keys or taper bushes should be discarded since self-centering, zero-run-outs and high speed are the need of the hour.
