Worm Gearboxes for Valves

Meritech Group offers complete range of heavy-duty cast and ductile iron quarter turn Worm Gearboxes for electric actuators. These are suitable for plug, ball and butterfly valves, industrial dampers serving the oil, water, gas, chemical, power, and general industrial applications. M-EXS-ACT-PL Series worm gearboxes are available in torques range up to 50,000 Nm (36,900 lb.ft). These gearboxes conform to IP67 standard. They have taper roller bearings, single piece hardened and ground worm shaft, planetary gear reduction attachment, comprehensive gear ratios, high efficiency, Buna-N rubber seals, stainless steel hardware, removable output drive sleeves, epoxy polyurethane coat and specially designed end stoppers. Optional features such as ductile iron, IP68, AWWA, nuclear and all types of environment; high and low temperatures, actuator mounting flange, limit switches, lever arms, padlock able hand wheels, traveling nut for operations more or less than 90° travel are also available.
