V-BELTS

Eurocon Belting offers V-belts. It conforms to international standards. It is made of premium polyester cord and packed within very close tolerance in length. Code 50 indicates exact length and each 2.5 mm variation from the nominal length is represented by a change of code of one unit. For example A 100 (2576) V-belt code 50 has exact 100 inches inside length or 2576 mm pitch length. If the coding is 52, it has (2576 + 5 = 2581 mm) pitch length. It is important of use match set belt (within the limit shown in the table) on multiple V-belt drive (i.e., a drive where more than one belt is used) to ensure uniform distribution of load on those belts. Construction: these V-belts are the composite of strong polyester cord, polychloroprene (neoprene) rubber impregnated jacket fabric and unique blend of synthetic/ natural rubber compound, vulcanised together. Belts are dimensionally stable having high friction coefficient, designed to take higher tension, withstand to adverse environmental condition and antistatic. Specially designed cushion (gum) compound provides excellent static and dynamic adhesion with polyester cord layer, jacket fabric and base compound. Polychloroprene rubber impregnated jacket fabric encapsulates belt and provides mechanical support high friction coefficient, abrasion, heat and oil resistance and imparts antistatic property to the belt. Firm rubber compression member gives support to cord and designed to permit better wedging and flexing around the pulley.
