From low speed fractional HP drives up to 1,000 HP, Polychain GT belt drives are unsurpassed in transmitting positive power over a wide range of torques, while withstanding power surges and shock loading and outperform most of the roller chins with an enhanced service life of more than 5 times. The specially developed elastomeric compound forms the body and teeth of the belt and blended for the adhesion to aramid tensile cords. It is a tough belt even hard to cut and has a higher modulus than steel, is impervious to chemicals, oils and pollutants, and hence exceptionally durable.
