Kapurthala Hi-Tech manufactures nylon sandwich belts, tangential belts and synthetic spindle tapes. The nylon sandwich belts offer transmission efficiency of 96 per cent plus power savings is up to 14 per cent when compared to the conventional V belts. They have a high load-carrying capacity, of up to 2,000 k-W drives. The tangential belts maintain a high and uniform spindle speed, enabling excellent yam quality. Synthetic spindle tapes also offer power consumption savings of up to 14 per cent as against cotton tapes. Idle spindleage is kept low and fluff accumulation is nil. Splicing and joining are quick.
