Rotomotive Powerdrives India Ltd incorporated in August 2006 is an Indo-Italian joint venture with Rotomag Motors & Controls and Indian promoters holding 51% stake and Motive s.r.l and the Italian promoters holding the balance 49%. The Italian and Indian promoters share an equal representation on the board. The joint venture agreement allows full access to current and future technologies of Motive s.r.l as well as a reverse flow of technology and buy back from Rotomotive to Motive. The company offers Robus Series Helical Gearboxes with the following features: unicase cast iron body for extreme rigidity; all gears hardened and ground to DIN class 6; flexibility in converting from foot to flange; multiple mounting positions offer usage flexibility; top opening for easy maintenance; diecast aluminium cover; multiple input and output flange options; oversized bearings for dual support on all gears; and synthetic lubrication.
