Rotomotive Powerdrives India Ltd, offers 'Robus' Helical Gearboxes, which have a unique rigid cast iron body and base to ensure extreme robustness in build quality. Detachable output flange and foot allows easy conversion between foot and flange mounting which offers flexibility to end-users. The gears are made from high strength steels like 15CrMo4 and are case hardened to reduce wear and tear. Gears are profile ground to Din 3962 class 6 accuracy for low noise and high efficiency. Output shafts are made from 42CrMo4 steel and tempered to reach hardness of 23-35 HRC to withstand shear stresses and torsion effect. Oversized bearings allow the gearbox to withstand higher operating loads. Robus helical geared motors are available from 0.37 kW to 22 kW with a peak torque rating of 210 Nm to 3000 Nm. All Rotomotive products are serviced and supported by a strong network of 8 offices, 70 dealers and 55 service centres. Incorporated in August 2006, the company is an Indo-Italian joint venture between Rotomag Motors & Controls Pvt Ltd and Motive Srl. of Italy.
