Heavy Duty Timing Belts For Industrial Drives

In answer to the need for high-performance timing belts required in plant construction for realizing increasingly higher speeds NSW Kunststofftechnik have developed the Seca timing belts. The improved load bearing capacity of the teeth and the use of reinforced steel cord tension members make these timing belts suitable for transmitting greater loads. A typical application is linear drives such as those used in gantry robots. The positioning accuracy which can be achieved using the AT and HTT profiles is the top priority in this application. If there is a favourable ratio of mass to output, these timing belts are accurate in both transmission and repeatability and are therefore suited to precise linear technology tasks requiring rapid reactions.
