Gear Shaping Machine

The OHA 50 CNC 5 vertical gear shaper presented by TOS is designed to generate external or internal spur gears with straight or helical teeth. In addition to gears, the machine is also capable of producing gear segments, racks, clutches and various disk cams. Numerical control is featured for five axes: the B-axis provides circular cutter rotation feed, the C-axis is responsible for table rotation, the X-axis delivers radial cutter feed, the Z-axis is designed for the vertical advance of the ram slide, and on the W-axis, where the main cutting motion takes place, cutter oscillation is performed. Instead of canned working cycles it is also possible to create proper programs.
