Taper Rollers

Kansara Modler, an Indo-German joint venture, manufactures Taper Rollers for bearings. Taper roller is the most critical component of taper roller bearings. It has to rotate at several times higher speed than the bearing itself and at the same time it has to carry the entire load of the equipment where it is used. Obviously the performance of the bearing in terms of its speed, strength and service to a great extent depends on rollers. And to create the roller to meet the stringency required calls for better material, better manufacturing and better micro geometry. To take care of all the three key parameters the company has in-house laboratory equipped with world's renowned computerised equipment capable of giving objective results on hard copy in less than a minute eliminating the guess work totally. Normal production range includes: larger end diameter – 4.75 to 25.50 mm; smaller end diameter – 4.50 to 18.50 mm; and length – 8.00 to 45.00 mm. Rollers falling outside normal production range can also be offered against specific requirements.
