Excel Bearings Pvt Ltd, an ISO/TS 16949: 2002 certified company, offers a wide range of Slewing Rings, also known as four point contact bearings. Excel slewing rings are available in the following designs: with external gear teeth, with internal gear teeth, and with gear teeth. Design and quality of gear teeth: as standard the gear teeth on slewing rings are involute gear teeth without addendum modification (0-20°). Standard design of gear teeth: slewing rings with gear rings made from normalised material C45N or 42CrMo4V65 (suffix N) have proved themselves in a wide range of applications. Material and heat treatment: The heat treatment of the gear teeth is characterized by means of suffixes: normalised (N) – standard design or gear rings; quenched and tempered (V) – special design of gear rings; and hardened (H) – special design of gear rings. Seal profile material: the standard material for the profiles is the synthetic elastomer NBR 70. This material is characterised by: good resistance to oils and grease, and good wear resistance. Operating temperature: Excel seal profiles can be used at temperatures from -40°C to 80°C. The manufacturing range includes all types of ball, roller, spherical bearings and slewing rings. Many of these bearings are custom made using different types of steel and different type of heat treatment. Nearly 85% of all production is exported to other countries, including those in the highly competitive markets like Germany, UK, USA, Japan and South Africa. Within the country, the bearings are supplied mainly to several to reputed OEMs. This includes OEMs from different fields like automobile, tractor, earth moving equipment, pump, heavy machinery and other engineering companies.
