Slewing Ring Bearings

Kavitsu Transmissions offers high performance Slewing Ring Bearings in a variety design like ball and roller types. In case of Ball Type design, single row ball bearing slewing ring with four point contact and double row ball bearing slewing rings with double axis system is applied. In case of Roller Bearing design, three roller bearing slewing rings with axial and radial roller type is applied. At present the company can offer a variety range up to 3500 mm external diameter with either internal teeth or external teeth cut or without any teeth. The complete bearing is offered in pre-lubricated condition with grease nipples, high quality dust seals and standardized clamping bolt pattern. These bearings give a normal life of 30000 revolutions on load. The selection of type of rolling element either ball or roller and the number of rows, is entirely base on an application and method of use, such as slewing over angle, operating cycle, oscillatory motion, etc. Normally these bearings are used where a rotary motion is required without transmission of high radial load, rotation at slow speed and little rough application. The major fields in which these slewing bearing rings are used are wind turbine, turntable, mobile carne, excavator, port crane, turn dish rotation in steel industry, work platform and so on.
