Self-Aligning Ball Bearings

Self-Aligning Ball Bearings have two rows of balls with a common sphered raceway in the outer ring. This feature gives the bearings their self-aligning property, permitting skewing between the inner and outer ring which can thus compensate misalignment, shaft deflections and housing deformations. Self-aligning ball bearings of series 12,13,22 and 23 are available with a cylindrical or tapered bore – K type to be used with Adaptor sleeve, locknut and lock washer and are also available in sealed designs i.e Rubber contact seals on both sides suffixed as 2RS. Self-aligning ball bearings are also produced in solid brass cage as well as solid cage of glass fibre reinforced polyamide 66.
