Self Lubricating (Du) Bushes & Washers

Metalon self lubricating (DU) bushes and washers use a composite material in which a mixture of PTFE, bronze, graphite, carbon, etc. is bonded either by lining or coating on SS, CRCA sheets and then formed into bushes or washers. These bushes and washers have advantages like negligible stick/slip properties, self lubrication and resistance to many industrial solvents, liquids and gases. They can operate in dusty environments and at extremely highilow temperatures, withstand very high loads, have low co efficient of friction, etc. These are used as dry bearings in food and pharmaceutical industry machines, gearboxes, valves, motors, etc.
