Igus India Pvt Ltd offers flexible iglidur M250, a range of thick and robust Polymer Bearings. iglidur M250 bearings are vibration dampening, rugged and wear resistant. In applications with low speeds, they balance edge loads very well and help to minimise noise. iglidur M250 is available as cylindrical bearings, plain bearings with flange and thrust washers. Occasions for applications of iglidur M250 bearings: when the bearings are exposed to strong dirt accumulation; for low to medium speeds; for edge loads; when machining is required; for outstanding vibration dampening; and for high impact strength. Gunter Blase founded the company in 1964 in a double garage in Cologne. For the first 20 years, the company worked as a supplier of complex technical polymer components. However, in 1983, the founder, Frank Blase, established reinforced plastic Energy Chain Systems and injection moulded polymer bearings as two distinct product groups and set up a network of sales engineers. These seemingly unrelated products are linked together through the belief in making functionally advanced, yet affordable polymer components and assemblies. Between 1985 and 2011, igus has grown from 40 to more than 1,350 employees distributed between the head office in Germany and 26 subsidiary companies around the world. igus also has representative partners in more than 33 other countries. igus will continue to invest in expansion in the coming years, thanks to the opportunities for growth provided by modern materials.
