GGB offers Metal-polymer Plain Bearings. It is available as self-lubricating and prelubricated types. Product range includes cylindrical wrapped bushes, flanged bushes, thrust washers and special parts manufactured to customer requirements. Products are available in a variety of forms such as cylindrical wrapped bushes, flanged bushes, thrust washers and special parts manufactured to requirements. These products are used in a wide range of applications and industries, including aerospace, agricultural and construction equipment, automotive, hydraulics, hydropower, industrial equipment and many more from awnings and hot air balloons to dentist chairs. The metal or epoxy-backed sliding surfaces of bearing products are made of PTFE or mixtures thereof to reduce friction and the need for maintenance. Capable of operating at high temperatures in confined spaces with little or no lubrication. Products include metal-polymer materials for dry applications and lubricated applications. Solid polymer bearings are produced by precision injection moulding polyester-based, acetal-based, polyamide-based, PPS-based and high-temperature-based materials. A variety of fibre-reinforced thermosetting plastic bearings, including high-performance, filament-wound products are also available. Monometallic offerings include a range of oil-impregnated sintered bronze and solid-bronze bearings. Specialised housings and assemblies and bimetallic bearings are also available.
