Gear Operators, Quarter Turn & Multi Turn

Awwa (India) Technologies, an ISO 9001: 2000 certified company offers the Turbo range of Quarter Turn and Multi Turn Gear Operators. These quarter turn and bevel gear operators with proven design are backed by two decades of engineering expertise. These gear operators are flawless in turning the valve disc from Open to Close position and vice versa by 90 degrees. Advantages: easy installation and minimum maintenance; adaptability to suit either manual or motorised operation by means of simple modification; the mounting flange on the gearbox is designed to suit ISO 5210 or DIN 3210 standard; the gearboxes are subjected to extensive testing under extreme conditions ensuring that gearbox is perfectly geared to meet the process environment. Additional features include hand wheel, chain wheel, declutching arrangement, limits switch and electric actuators. A pilot hole is provided on the hosing to enable easy fillings of lubricant. Normally gearboxes will be supplied with IP 54 enclosure (dust proof) and under special cases gearboxes can be supplied with IP 68 enclosure at extra cost. To increase the operating torque range a secondary unit is provided with spur gear attachments and accessories. Construction: due care is taken to achieve dimensional stability in the castings. The worm and worm wheel pair is designed in such a way that self-locking is ensured. Adjustable stopper bolts are provided for precise valve positioning. The units incorporate self lubricated bearings and flexible graphite packing rings.
