These diamond/cBN wheels are used to sharpen carbide tipped tools. The maximum speed for this wheel is rated for 7250 RPM. The dish angle of the wheel varies from 30º to 45º. The standard diameters of these wheels are 75, 100 and 150 mm. special bonds of `MF2' are used for these wheels to obtain the best grinding ratios possible. The grinding wheel cores normally used are aluminium or Bakelite. The mode of grinding could be either reciprocating/creep feed type.
