Austin Engineering Company (AEC), an ISO/TS 16949: 2002 company (includes designing of bearings) by TUV Rheinland – Germany with RHPS certification, offers Deep Groove Ball Bearings. These are available in Single Row, Double Row and Wide Row Series in various sizes. Single Row Series: Metric – 6000, 6200, 6300, 6400, 16000, 61800, 61900, inch – RLS, RMS, XLJ; Double Row Series: Metric – 4200, 4300; and Wide Row Series: Metric – W200 PP, W 300 PP. The company claims the distinction of being the only Public Limited Company in Indian bearing manufacturing sector, which from inception in 1972, has had no foreign tie-up/collaboration whatsoever. Relying exclusively on its own expertise, the company specialises in import substitution. It offers the widest range in India (numbering 4000) covering all types and configurations/derivatives of rolling bearings, which is ball/cylindrical/taper/needle/spherical roller bearings, etc. The capacity range of manufacture includes: Bearings having bore dia from 10 mm to 1500 mm and outside dia from 20 mm to 1800 mm, weighing right from 20 gm to 1250 kg.
